With our baseball off-season in full swing all of us are busy doing many different things while going in many different directions. Throw in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season along with the recent snowfall, and it is easy to see why many people may not be thinking of baseball right know. The fact is that right now is a very important time to be thinking of the upcoming 2008 baseball season, and making plans to get your player(s) in shape and prepared for the beginning of our spring season.

With all of that said, I am pleased to present to you an excellent opportunity for your player(s) to join together with other Elk River youth baseball players, and participate in a multi-week baseball camp at Minnesota Baseball Academy located in the Competitive Edge Arena in Rogers. This camp will work to help improve all elements of our baseball players’ skills, as well as developing their physical abilities through conditioning exercises.

Please see the attached brochure/registration form for all of the details. You will see on the form that there are actually 2 different sessions, which is designed to allow for some options. One session will be going on Thursday evenings, and the other will be on Saturday mornings. If doing both sessions will work for you, then please feel free to sign up for both of them. *These camps are designed exclusively for Elk River Youth Baseball members, and have been set up and approved by our Board of Directors in an attempt to provide for our membership the most cost effective way to train indoors during the off-season. Our hope is that our members will have the ability to take advantage of these great opportunities, and sign up soon.
